What's new with the Baby magazines

Mission

With extensive analysis in our French market, Today’s Parent Group has decided to rename Mere Nouvelle, Quebec’s parenting magazine for parents with newborns, to our new title Poupon.  This title proves to be friendlier and has more appeal to our French readers.  Poupon, translated as “babe in arms”, places focus on the new baby rather than just on the mother; this way our newborn care guide speaks to new fathers, too.  Poupon encourages, supports and inspires those beginning the journey as parents of a new baby.

To coincide with our name change we have launched a new French website boutdechou.ca.  This site offers parents a rich selection of stories on pregnancy and early parenting from 0-3 years of age.  Our site includes community talk forums, blogs and other user-generated content.

Today's Parent "New Parent" Special Editions support our readers through one of life's most exciting, challenging and crucial transitions - the birth of a baby and the earliest years of parenting - and helps them lay the foundation for a happy, healthy family life.
